Effective .
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ("we", "us"). They cover the Requinto From Zero website and app, including every instrument course, lesson and membership (the "Service"). By creating a membership or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Membership terms at a glance
- Paid memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, plus applicable tax, until you cancel.
- If your plan includes a free trial, you'll be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- You can cancel anytime online in Account > Cancel membership. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- We email you a confirmation of these terms after you sign up, remind you before yearly renewals, send every member a yearly reminder, and tell you before any price change.
1. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy a membership. People under 18 may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the purchase.
- You log in with a link sent to your email address. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can read it can log in.
- A membership is for one person. Don't share your login or resell access.
2. Memberships, prices and taxes
- Plans, prices and what's included are shown before you buy and again on the checkout page. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is added where required.
- Paid plans are currently offered to customers in the United States.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't receive or store your full card number.
3. Automatic renewal
Your membership continues and renews automatically at the end of each billing period (every month or every year, depending on your plan). At each renewal, we charge the payment method on file the then-current price for your plan, plus applicable tax, until you cancel. Before you buy, we show you these terms and ask for your express agreement to them.
4. Free trials
- If a plan includes a free trial, its length is shown before you buy. You'll need to provide a payment method to start.
- When the trial ends, your paid membership starts and you're charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged.
- Free trials are limited to one per person. We may decline a trial if you've had one or a paid membership before.
5. Cancelling
- Online: go to Account > Cancel membership and confirm. It takes about a minute.
- By email: write to from the email address on your account and ask us to cancel.
- Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for (or until your trial ends).
6. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or as otherwise expressly stated in these Terms. Cancelling stops future renewals and does not refund charges already paid. You keep access through the end of the paid billing period.
7. Price changes and reminders
- If we change the price of your plan, we'll email you at least 7 days (and no more than 30 days) before the new price applies, with instructions for cancelling. If you don't cancel, the new price applies from your next renewal.
- After you sign up, we email you a confirmation with your plan, price, renewal terms and how to cancel.
- Yearly members get an email before each renewal. All members get a reminder at least once a year describing their plan, charges and how to cancel.
- If a payment fails, we may pause access until your payment method is updated.
8. Our content and your license
- The lessons, text, diagrams, chord maps, song maps, exercises, the original study pieces "Ruta 12" and "Estudio No. 1", software, logo and design are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law.
