Accessibility
Updated .
We want everyone to be able to learn with Requinto From Zero. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we've done
- Every page and lesson works with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
- Controls, diagrams and interactive tools have text labels for screen readers.
- Text and buttons use high-contrast colors on a dark background.
- Chord maps list every finger, string or pair, and note in text next to each diagram, so the information isn't only visual.
- Sound examples are paired with written steps and diagrams, so the lessons don't rely on hearing alone.
- Animations are reduced if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Everything is available in English and Spanish, and a left-handed view is available for chord maps.
Known limitations
Ear-training exercises depend on listening. Some diagrams are complex, and we keep improving their text descriptions.
